  • Bless the Land

The portion of the Bible that corresponds to this week says, “remember the rules and judgments of G-d,” and, “don’t think it is because of your righteousness…”
It is teaching that you can do nothing without the help of the Light. Don’t ever think that when you achieve something, or reach a successful place, that it was your power alone that got you there. Yes, you tried, yes you struggled, yes you had pain, but do you think you got there on your own?

  • Bringing Back The Diamonds of Life

This weekend we connect to Shabbat Nachamu, the Shabbat of Consolation.  This is the time between Tish’a B’Av, which, among other things, marked the destruction of the two Holy Temples, and Rosh Hashanah.

I want you to know that in every life time there is a destruction of the Temple – the loss of a loved one, a child with a disability, the inability to function because of mental disorders like bipolarity.

  • Connecting to Rav Isaac Luria, The Ari

I am writing to you today from Israel, on the anniversary of the passing of Rav Isaac Luria, also known as the Ari, or the Lion of Safed.

I remember my very first trip to Safed, Israel.  I was walking around the city and I kept feeling that I was close to somebody, something, some energy. It was like a fatherly energy.

  • New Moon of Leo

Today we entered the lunar month of Leo, and many of us are feeling a tremendous amount of pressure and stress. Join me here for a few words about what this month will bring and in a kabbalistic meditation to overcome these challenges, for we know, the greater the challenge the greater the reward.

  • Leaving Our Desert

I’m on my way to Mexico City to give a lecture tomorrow night and spend the Shabbat there with our chevre and students, and with all of the chaos that we have seen recently in Mexico, it reminds me of a story of a man that I met in Bogota.

  • Heal The Gulf

This is a recording of a meditation that we did with students around the world with the Zohar at Santa Monica Beach.  Please grab Zohar Pinchas and keep this Global Zohar Scanning going to Heal the Gulf and Ourselves.

  • Oy and Ashrei- An Alternative to Pain and Suffering- Part 2

I think it’s important to be discussing the Oy and Ashrei now because people need to know that what’s happening isn’t haphazard.  It’s important for those of you studying Kabbalah to understand that we are a little beacon of Light, the only people discussing this, and as such we have a huge responsibility to those people we bring into this world of spirituality.

  • Oy and Ashrei- An Alternative to Pain and Suffering- Part 1

In the Bible, it says, (and I’m paraphrasing,) “If you don’t follow my laws, then plagues will happen.” It seems like we’re reading something that doesn’t make much sense.  Plagues are a thing of the past.

    Or are they.

I saw a documentary a while back that showed how we are destroying the jungles and the land, to such an extent that there is shrinking room for the animals to live. They are running further and further back into the jungles.

A few weeks ago I was in Miami and I held a Question and Answer session in the Miami Kabbalah Centre and Online.  I am going to post each question one by one with its answer.

This first question was regarding the situation we are facing in the world today and more specifically in Israel, why its happening and in my opinion what needs to happen in order to change it.

I look forward to you posting your thoughts and further questions here on the blog.

  • Light and Joy

When we cross the line of race, religion, creed and stand as one unified whole regardless of where we've come from, we draw the Light to the world. And that is our purpose.   Here we see performers and representatives from many types of spirituality performing the song called "Light and Joy" in Russian.  I’m very happy that two of our teachers in Moscow were a part of this and singing from the Zohar on National Television in Russia. See them here...

  • The New Moon of Cancer

You are missing some Flash content that should appear here! Perhaps your browser cannot display it, or maybe it did not initialize correctly.

The month of Cancer is known as one of the 3 "negative" months. Kabbalistically, we know that "negative" simply means the existence of a tremendous amount of Light.  Join me as I discuss what we can do to use this energy to create balance and blessings in our lives, and do a meditation to make it happen.

  • The Power of the Zohar

As you know, our physical universe is not all there is. It is just one of many dimensions. These other dimensions are accessible in different ways, one of which is through our dreams.

Last week I received this amazing email from one of our teachers in Mexico City:

“I have a student whose child committed suicide 4 years ago when he was only 18 years old. Last night, the child came in a dream to one of my student’s friends, and he told her that he had committed suicide in 3 lifetimes before this one, and this is the 4th lifetime that he has done the same.

  • Act of Greatness

The Book of the Prophet Joshua tells an enlightening story about a prostitute named Rahab, who, along with her family, is saved while the rest of her generation is destroyed.

It takes place as the two of spies sent by Joshua to check out the land of Israel are being chased by the King’s mob. They escape from the bloodthirsty crowd and ask to hide in Rahab’s home.

She responds, ‘I will gladly hide you here, if you remember that my family and I saved you and you will save us and allow us to enter the land of Israel with you.’
