In this video, I am addressing a group at the Women’s Conference on October 26th.  Produced by First Lady of California, Maria Shriver, this event is the nation’s premier forum for women with many A-list speakers working to empower women to be architects of change. Ten thousand women attended the Night at the Village. What an honor to be a part of it all.

  • The Caterpillar and The Butterfly

Once upon a time there were two caterpillars who were great friends-they spent time with each other, they crawled together, they talked with each other.

Every morning they would meet at the same place.  And then one morning one of the caterpillars came to the place and the other caterpillar wasn’t there.  So she was crying and crying, because she missed her friend.  Suddenly, a beautiful butterfly came and sat next to her and said, “Why are you crying- don’t you see I’m a butterfly?”

  • Which Way is Up- Finding the Way to Our Next Level

In Lech Lecha, this week’s portion of the Bible, the Creator tells Abraham to leave his home.  He says, “you’re in a bad place, there are bad people around you, and you’re being influenced by things that are not for your best benefit.  You’ve got to get out of here!”
However, God doesn’t tell him where to go.

Today is the anniversary of the day Rachel the Matriarch left this world. Rachel is considered by kabbalists to be the mother of the world, and her greatest desire is to defend all of her children from evil. Throughout her life, Rachel acted as the protector of all humankind.

  • Burn Baby Burn

This is the week between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, a time when we want to look inside ourselves - and look to others - and ask the questions:

•What is it that I need to change?

•How can I change these things?

•Who are the people in my life that I’ve hurt?

  • Come Out, Come Out Wherever You Are

In the coming month of Libra, there will be a series of planets converging that will take us out from under the covers, that will force us to have to face things that we have never faced before. We are going to have to go to a place inside of ourselves where all our illusions and delusions can change into reality. and for some of us it will be a very difficult time. It can manifest as changes in a relationship or changes in the way we view things, but basically, it will bring us closer to the spirituality that we all seek.

  • Erasers on Pencils- Understanding What it Means to do Teshuva

In everything that we do, there is a higher purpose, especially in this month when we will soon stand before our Creator in Rosh Hashanah.  For thousands and thousands of years, the only new moon that we do not do a blessing for is the New Moon of the month of Libra.  Why?

  • Life Is Puzzling

Many people come to me asking for help with their challenges, yet most of
the time they don’t think the challenges are theirs.  They think they are someone else’s –their husbands’ or their bosses’ or their kids’.  This is because they don’t want to see themselves; they don’t want to see that everything that happens in their lives is their challenge, regardless of whose fault it is.

In King David’s time, there was a man who cursed him, and as you can imagine,
his soldiers wanted to take the man’s head off.  But King David said, “If he

  • Our Ladder to the Next Level

    September 4, 2009 - Tel Aviv, Israel

The energy this week is about the idea of the blessings and the curses.  The Torah says that if you do positive actions you will be blessed, and if you do negative actions you will be cursed.

  • Angels Can Be Proven- By You

I recently put out a request on Twitter and Facebook for people to share their life changing experiences with me. A student from Florida, Lambrine, emailed me this miraculous story about an angel coming to her rescue.

We all have angels around us, whether we know it or not.  Angels are one of those topics of which people are skeptical.  “Where’s the proof?!”  Read on and I will show you how to connect to them and find the proof yourself:

  • Shabbat Shalom From Warsaw, Poland!

I just wanted to wish everyone Shabbat Shalom from Warsaw, Poland, a part of the world where many righteous people have walked before us.  We are here together with friends from all over the world to connect to the powerful energy of Shabbat Re’eh(which literally translated from Hebrew means to see).  God willing we will be able to see the Light of the Messiah(when everyone will reach total fulfillment) in order to be able to truly grow.

  • Consciousness Is Live Matter

Many people don’t understand that consciousness is live matter.  We talk and think we are just saying things, but in fact, every single thing we say has a channel that it goes through.  Kabbalah teaches us that angels are listening and taking our thoughts and actions to the different chambers in the upper worlds of positive and negative words and actions.

  • Creating Light For Ourselves and the World

Today, I am writing to you from Sefat, Israel, one of my favorite places in the world. This week's energy comes from the Torah portion of Ekev, which literally translated from Hebrew means “heel”. The heel is the foundation of the body and represents the world in which we live which is also known as malchut.  This week, we have the ability to control the energy of our physical world.

  • Spark of Light

I have always felt that I had a calling for spiritual work.  Even before I met the Rav, I was involved other forms of spirituality.

Then I realized that, together with the Rav, we could create something, that would create change,  actually change people in this world. We came together really for that purpose. And so, my role became to take all that I had in my previous lifetime, in that “incarnation” of the young Karen and bring it into my role now as a more mature Karen -- to be able to take all wisdom that the Rav had from his world and the knowledge that I brought from my world, and marry that as well.
